Mark Applequist will present this talk on Thursday October 12 @ 6:30-7:30pm.
In January, 1981, Mark was part of an expedition to remove feral burros from Grand Canyon National Park. He and others transported 50 some burros from the lower canyon to Diamond Creek. This job was funded by the Fund for the Animals founded by Cleveland Amory. Mark will be presenting a slide show that will focus on the history of burros in the canyon and his experience working with them.
