Master Explorers is an after-school program for 4th and 5th grade students that begins for 4th graders on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 and 5th graders on Wednesday, September 14.
Master Explorers meet on alternating Wednesdays at the Dolores Public Library from 3:45 – 4:45 pm. Please check the After-School Program schedule for exact dates that students will meet for each particular grade.
This program is for children who want to explore nature, create, build, discover the world of science, and exercise their creativity with fun, hands-on projects and activities.
Please remind your child that this program is a privilege and appropriate, respectful and responsible behavior is an expectation. The library staff intends to provide the children in the community with an enriching after-school, learning experience. We look forward to having fun exploring the world inside and outside the library!
This program is free for all students. A snack will be provided. We will contact you to arrange a snack sign-up. Also, if you would love to volunteer to help, you are welcome. Shaine Gans, Youth Services Coordinator, will meet the children at the main doors of the Dolores Elementary School at 3:35 pm. We will walk to the Riverside Park or the library for activities. Please pick-up your child promptly at 4:45 pm at the library.
You can stop by the library during regular operating hours to sign-up your child for the Master Explorers program. You can also find the REQUIRED After-School Program Sign-Up Form at the Dolores Elementary School main office or click the link below to download the sign-up form, print both pages, and return the completed form to the library before your child’s first session.
